Master’s in business administration evening and weekday track overview
This MBA track is designed to accommodate students who do not have significant prior business leadership experience. As a student in the evening/weekday MBA track, you’ll attend classes on campus, in the evening, and in person. The program is approved to offer day-one CPT, or practical training, throughout the program for both domestic and international students. Practical training is defined as an approved work experience that is an integral part of the MBA program and is directly related to your major area of study. You can complete the required professional practice hours by working on either a practical project, a client project, or in an internship. Practical training can be part-time (less than 20 hours a week) or full-time (more than 20 hours a week), and may be paid or unpaid.
If you’re an international student interested in the program, visit the Alliant Office of International Student Services (ISS) web page and learn more from our Curricular Practical Training (CPT) web page.
Class schedule: For each course, you’ll attend ground classes once a week in the evening. Each course lasts eight weeks.
